Shawty right here

I may be going back to my junior high days.  Or becoming a cougar.  Have you heard of Justin Bieber?  Being away from the U.S. I missed this one.  I caught a clip of him and Usher on Ellen and then proceeded to watch almost every youtube video that exists of him.  He's quite the cutie and can see him selling out in every tenny bopper magazine that exists out there.  Oh, and my new interest besides Justin Bieber? - Urban DictionaryTenny bopper is a real term that exists.

and he's appearing at the Rosemont in Chicago tonight.

My baby is so loved!

Here are just a few clothes that I have already been given for baby Morris. A big Thank you to Heather and Jenna for sending me the cutest lil hat and toy and of course the MANDATORY chicago sports onesie. I love them. I actually bought the plaid outfit (overalls). I love lil baby boys in overalls and I'm officially obsessed. Also, I found some loafer-type shoes that looks A LOT like a pair Matt had been sporting on casual work days and for nice dinners :). Well little does Matt know that my vision is to have a lil mini Matt. So anything that I see that reminds me of him or his wardrobe, I have been picking up. I think it will be soooo cute and cheesy that it makes me giggle when I think of it. Its only fair!!!! If I was having a girl, I'm pretty sure I would being doing the same thing with my wardrobe.
Ok, I'm off to treat myself to a root beer, popcorn, and Criminal Minds.
PS: have you watched this show? It is my new "law and order" (since I am convinced I have seen every episode twice). Anyway its a great show!

This is what I imagine I might find on eHarmony.com

Omg...I came across this blog today and I had to share. I mean really? So many of these are Emo hipster boys hearting cats. My favorite quote is "Me and Miss Kitty Park (she may or may not be Korean)
I mean how can you not "click here" when it's a blog called "Guys and Cats"?? Who are these men and why do I feel like one of them could be my next boyfriend....

Btw, I found this blog from a blog I follow called R.O.C.K on the CTA. I originally thought it was a blog about random pictures of funny sh&t captured on the CTA, but really it's just one 'Mo's collection of hot boys he sees on the train.
He did however post this this morning:

Breaking the seal....

So the first picture of Baby boy Morris is officially out there...in cyber space.

I can't do the belly pics though. I just can't.

Maybe in a few weeks and maybe in a private email.

Currently I have gained about 11 pounds...maybe more since my last dr.'s appt. I have been feeling great. The only real craving I have had was ROOT BEER!!! I have been having a can every day. Oh well!

Matt has been fantastic. He cooks and cleans and rubs my back and goes to every doctor appointment with me. He's going to be a great dad...especially to a son. He has so many great qualities that I want him to pass down. I can't wait to see him in action. We have been pretty preoccupied with planning the nursery. There are so many ideas out there....and so many that I don't like :(. Maybe its just my pregnancy mood but none of the bedding sets are really exciting me yet.

I have been checking out nursery ideas on HGTV.com and there are some great ideas. I just need to commit to one of them!!!

Another decision we have made is not to tell anyone our name ideas anymore. This is mostly bc EVERYONE asks but when I mention the names we are thinking, people think I want to know if they like it or not. Well I don't. haha! I'm so mean. (PS: I'll tell you girls, just not the rest of the world)

I am promising to write more pregnancy stories in the near future...like about my swollen sausage feet, or the student who recently told me "wow, your getting real big now, ms moorman"....ahh, you have to love high school boys insensitivity at times.

Until then...

No Lizzy, That's Not Costume Jewelry

Hilary Duff and her hockey player BF got engaged this past weekend, click here to see photos. Apparently having a NHL playing fiance is this newest accessories in Hollywood (see Carrie Underwood, Elisha Cuthbert, etc) and Kim Kardashian did not get the memo.
What bothers me about these photos is that they obviously know the paps are there and yet they unconvincingly try to make it look like "Surprise! I had no clue anyone could see us" Now the couple has been flaunting the ring ALL over the LA scene. I used to like Hilary Duff, but this obvious call for attention?? Not so much.
I smell an MTV reality show in the making....

PS- The ring was like a million dollars or something- sick.

Reason #35 Why You Should NEVER Rat a Sibling Out

First and foremost- this link is probablt not suitable for work, I'd advise checking outside.
Omg- this is one of the crazier things I think I've ever seen. It makes me love and hate FB all at the same time.

BTW- who keeps a list like this anyway? Commit it to memory sweetie.

Awkward Alert: Oprah and Drew Brees Birthmark

So Drew Brees has a facial birthmark. It's not crazy noticable or anything, it's light and not huge or hideous but it's there. If you watched more than one pre or post superbowl interview you knew it was there. Apparently Oprah did not get the memo. Watch the above clip while she calls out his birthmark by asking him "Who you been kissing?" and wipes his face! Don't people prep her for this s##t?! A few more of these and people are not going to be so sad when 2011 rolls around Ms. Winfrey.

Courtney Love in Oxford

The queen of trash rock n' roll made an appearance at the Oxford Union to speak on Friday.   She was about how I imagined her.  Washed up, drugged up and I don't have much of a clue what she talked about because I couldn't understand her the first 20 minutes.  It was pretty cool though.  She was running late, so I went out to go the the bathroom and who walks in right be for me?  Courtney.  Her entourage asked me to wait 5 minutes to go in, but I went in anyways.  I peed super quickly, just in enough time to see her walk out of the stall and leave the bathroom without washing her hands.  Gross.  It left a crew of British undergrad girls in the bathroom gasping and squealing in shock that she didn't wash her hands.  Nice one Courtney.

The part of her speaking I did understand, she talked about her music career, some time she lived in England, and in Oregon (a shout out to Klamath Falls and Ashland - where I was living -I was shocked), she likes to listen to Mozart and she watches you tube videos about quantum physics.  Hmmmm.. okay.

The Oxford Union is a pretty prestigious place where lots of famous people come and talk like the Dalai Lama, Winston Churchill, Bill Clinton and Mother Teresa, so I was really surprised that they had Courtney Love.  Chris got to go afterwards and have drinks with her and about 20 other young Oxford undergrads.  She went over to talk to him and some other guy, the other guy stood up out of his chair for her, but Chris stayed seated (burn!).  He said she started to talk to them and then she sat on Chris's lap!  He said she was really gross looking up close.
and the evidence...

I love this photo so much.  These Brit boys with Courtney are extremely cute, nerdy and sort of Harry Potterish I think.

Liberty of London for Target

Not sure if you guys have heard of this place, but I wanted to make sure that you had a heads up when it comes your way.  Liberty of London is one of my favorite stores to wander around inside of in London.  They are extremely talented for having a good eye for design, fabrics, etc....  Love it.  I might have to keep an eye on the Target stuff myself and have one of you guys go buy for me and hold onto until I return to the U.S.  They are collaborating with Target this Spring and are looking to do home goods, bicycles and clothing for this popular UK label.  Be on the look out March 14th!

Things to See in Oxford

On The Wings of Love

Postscript: Sorry for this post. I just realized everyone may have not watched this yet and I might have spoiled it for you.... wasn't thinking. So if you haven't read this yet and don't want me to spoil it for you, do not read any further.

I just got done watching the first 2 episodes of The Bachelor yesterday. I love this show and all of the drama recently. And come on Jake, get rid of crazy Michelle already.

Any other new shows or new seasons I should know about? I've seen bits and pieces of Jersey Shore, but its hard to find good fully downloaded episodes.

All Things Baby

Now that I am writing a blog, I spend time looking at other blogs. And some of the people who write blogs have baby's, and some of them write blogs just for baby stuff. and now that Carly is having a baby, I can't help looking at this stuff now. I hope all of you are saving some money, because there is so much cute baby stuff out there.

Here are some of the favorites I've come across recently:

Cute nursery ideas and decorating at this one posting on Simplified Bee. I'm not big on the frog theme, but the green color is cute.

I've been following this one for awhile being a fellow American expat in England. They have a little girl and she does such an awesome job of documenting her daughter's development. Kind of like a baby book, but online and monthly. Our Life at Home

For the stylish baby there is Baby Style Watch - on a recent posting they had these cute boots that were recently seen on Mila Jovovich's daughter

and for the boys - retro tennis shoes

oh and while I am on the subject of stylish baby clothes, Chris and I went into a store in Paris that sold the cutest baby clothes made by Burberry, Marc Jacobs (Little Marc Jacobs), Dior - so cute and uber expensive!!

My Favorite Things has some good reviews on baby/kid stuff among other things, like this baby carrier

and this awesome thing. Carly I can see you on it now! ah ha ha!
